Gloomy Goes to California

The final leg of Gloomy's journey in the States was a week in California--First stop, San Francisco!

Standing under a lone streetlamp on a foggy San Francisco night...the perfect place to look gloomy.

Mood quickly improved by riding the carousel at Fisherman's Wharf.

Oh yeah, ride that other bear!

 Had to include a visit to Muir Woods to see Gloomy's natural habitat...

Next, it was off to LA, where Gloomy teamed up with a friend to take on the biggest K-pop concert the West Coast has ever seen!

The show?  SM Town's concert tour...a bunch of bands Gloomy Bear didn't know and the massive, 10-member Korean boy band Super Junior!

Finally, after lots of fun and adventure in America, Gloomy headed back to Japan to hibernate after the long trip...

Gloomy's Visit to Wisconsin

While in Wisconsin, Gloomy Bear visited the House on the Rock--a bizarre place filled with strange collections and surreal creations built by an eccentric rich guy.

After a long afternoon of wandering through the creepy halls of the House on the Rock, it was time for a quick snack...

And then some Rock Band.

Gloomy Dance Party

Gloomy Bear loves the Minnesota Fringe Festival (www.fringefestival.org/2010/) as well as a good dance party, so couldn't pass up Mash-Up Night at "Fringe Central," Bedlam Theatre!

Gloomy at the Zoo

Gloomy went to the Como Zoo and couldn't wait to check out the new polar bear exhibit!

The crazy, OCD polar bear that used to always swim in the same loop is still crazy...just doing a new loop where it tries to get out of the people entrance of its habitat...

Seeing other bears sad makes Gloomy even gloomier...

Polar Bears' favorite food is seals, so Gloomy decided to try some too...

But in the end, Gloomy still prefers children.
